Have you been wondering what I’ve been up to?

It has been a while since I’ve been able to post a new review to this blog. I have been extremely busy and I have had little time to order my thoughts on the subject of technology. So what have I been doing? I’ve been writing. Specifically, I’ve been writing and editing, and publishing, a novel. My first novel, but not my last.

The book is The Perils of Prague, the first book in a steampunk series set in a world where Queen Victoria never died, and the Empire of the Eternal Empress spans the globe, influencing every nation. We step into this world through the eyes of a young English lord, touring the world as his entry into society. An evening’s entertainment at the State Opera of Prague introduces our narrator to Professor Harmonious Crackle and Miss Titania Bang, a pair of wandering scientists. Disaster strikes the performance when the Prima Donna is revealed as a clockwork and a single sustained note shakes the opera house down around them. Surviving the destruction, our intrepid trio must now track down the madman responsible before he strikes again.

The book is available in paperback and for Kindle, and an excerpt is available to view on Amazon.
