It has been a while since I’ve done one of these. It isn’t that there aren’t plenty of folks out there worth following. Quite the contrary, there are a lot of them. The fault has been mine. I’ve simply been trying to work too many projects.
But this isn’t about me. This is about someone who has bent his creative energies to finding new ways to helping others discover and develop their own creativity. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the man behind the Roundtable Podcast. I give you Dave Robison, aka. @WritersPodcast.
But before I tell you about Dave, let me tell you a little bit about the podcast. The Roundtable Podcast is a relatively new podcast that is taking the podisphere by storm. The show features Dave Robison, and his co-host Brion Humphrey. Each week they welcome a special guest host, a writer who has volunteered their story-building talents to help the week’s guest writer hammer their latest pitch into a workable story. Each Friday is a “20 minutes with” episode where Dave and Brion talk with this week’s guest host and give you some insight into the guest’s creative process. The following Tuesday, the three of them welcome a guest writer, who gives the panel a pitch for a story. The panel then bats around ideas looking for a way to transform that pitch into Literary Gold!
@WritersPodcast is the official Twitter feed for the Roundtable Podcast, but it is also Dave’s voice on the Twitterverse. Dave is the man behind the tweets, and he is just as engaging and charismatic on Twitter as he is on the podcast. He constantly quests for the awesome online, and he finds what he looks for. Dave is entertaining, creative, and fun to talk to. Or just follow him and watch as he interacts with the people he follows. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
