I am both a horror geek and a theology geek. If you follow me on Twitter, it’s likely that neither of these things surprise you. it isn’t often that you get those two things in one package, or at least that’s what I used to think. Enter @ZombieTheology. They are like Reese’s Cups Dark, if the candy shuffled around the blighted landscape looking for brains.

They tweet about a lot of zombie related things and they’re good sports, poking fun at themselves, the genre, and their focus. They also use it to feed folks their blog where most of the magic happens. They post stories, reviews, and blog articles trending heavily towards the shambling undead. They don’t shy away from the Christian angle to their passion though.

What’s their purpose in all this? Well with tongue likely planted in cheek, they recognize the lack of “good information and answers from a theological angle on how to deal with and how to understand when the dead rise to destroy the living” and hope to rectify that. Seriously, this blog and twitter account is a gem. if you’re not religious at all, you’ll find some good stories and discussions there. If you are, like me, a Christian who wants to find some like minded horror fans, then this is the place to go.

If you’re somewhere in between or even outside those two groups, follow them anyway!

So, there’s your Follow Friday for this week. Shamble forth into a good weekend!
